The Quad City Symphony Orchestra will perform a symphonic celebration of the music of Journey on August 26, 2023, at the Quad City Bank & Trust’s annual Riverfront Pops concert.

Celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, the anthemic arena rock band Journey has amassed an extensive discography, including classic hits such as “Wheel in the Sky,” “Separate Ways,” and “Don’t Stop Believin’” among others.

Listen to the conversation here with Brian Baxter, Executive Director of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra, about the tremendous versatility of the QCSO’s musicians, the important ways in which the orchestra is diversifying their community outreach and programming, and why the Riverfront Pops is widely considered to be the Quad Cities’ “party of the summer.”

Tickets can be purchased online. Gates open at 4pm. The pre-show begins at 6:30pm with the concert starting at 7:30pm. Outside food and drink is allowed. Please bring a blanket or chairs and stay through the spectacular closing fireworks display.

Thank you to Quad City Bank & Trust for sponsoring this beloved community event!
