Drew Bordeaux

Originally from Davenport, the singer/songwriter and performance coach Ariel Arbisser recently released her debut solo album, Risk of Love.

Featuring her “big modern voice with a throw-back vibe,” the songs on this compilation focus on love in its various forms, as well as loss, mental health and our universal desire for community. Releasing the album was a cathartic process, and it offers deeply personal insights into the highs and lows of her own lived experience over the past few years.

Listen to the conversation here with Ariel Arbisser about the joys of songwriting, the unique training that a cappella groups provided her both collegiately and professionally, and her work as a performance coach in Ithaca, NY.

You can follow Ariel on Facebook and listen to her album Risk of Love on Spotify, Apple Music, or your favorite streaming platform.
