The Illinois Supreme Court is seeking public input on filling an At-Large vacancy on the state’s Thirteenth Judicial Circuit court.

Judge Cynthia Raccuglia retired earlier this month from the bench, which has jurisdiction in Bureau, Grundy and LaSalle Counties.

The public can find information about the 11 candidates for the job on the Supreme Court’s website and submit comments by Friday, March 28th, at 5 p.m. No anonymous comments will be accepted. A newly formed screening committee plans to review the public input and interview the candidates before sending its findings to the Supreme Court to make the final decision.

The person selected to fill the vacancy will serve until the first Monday in December following the November 2026 general election.
