The Quad Cities YWCA is holding an open house on Tuesday, November 12th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to unveil their new facility at 513 17th Street in Rock Island, Illinois.
This event will not just open up the new facility to the public, but also give key information about the services the facility will offer, and discounts to those who sign up to be a YWCA member at the open house. YWCA is able to provide childcare and preschool, fitness classes, and all sorts of social activities.
Some activities at this event include showing the all-new aquatic center in the building, giveaways, and snacks made by Chef Nick. At 5:30, there will be a Kimoodo demonstration, an activity for breathing and the nervous system, from Grand Master Doug Fuechsel, an internationally acclaimed Taekwondo instructor, and Vice President of the United States Taekwondo Committee. All ages are welcome to participate in this activity.
