The Dubuque Regional Airport announces that daily commercial air services are returning on November 4th. People can fly to and from the Chicago/O’Hare International Airport on a fifty-seat regional jet.

Todd Dalsing, Airport Director at the Dubuque Regional Airport, says that the daily commercial flights are something that everyone can enjoy. “Not only for business but also for leisure and tourism. And, it really helps with the connectivity of the tri-state area to Chigaco to the nation, and really the world.”

The daily commercial flights lost their service in 2022 when American Airlines pulled out of Duqubue.

The Denver Air Connection will operate a daily flight between Dubuque and O’Hare International Airport. The first flight will depart O’Hare around midday, and the flight from Dubuque to O’Hare will depart around mid-afternoon.

Part of the funding for the return of the flights comes from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Small Community Air Service Development Program. The SCASD is designed to help small communities fix their air services and airfare issues.

Tickets can be purchased directly through American, United, Delta, Denver Air, and preferred travel reservation websites. All links are available on www.flydbq.com.
