Election Day this year is November 5, and local officials want to remind residents of important voter information and deadlines.

In Illinois, Henry County Clerk Barb Link wants to remind citizens of the October 8 voter registration deadline.

Link said any registered voter who changed their address must ensure it is updated in order to vote in this year’s general election.

Henry County residents may register to vote or change their address at the County Clerk’s office in Cambridge or their local City Clerk's office or library.

More information can be found on Henry County’s official website.

On the Iowa side, the deadline to pre-register to vote in Scott County is Monday, October 21, at 5 p.m. This is also the deadline for absentee ballot requests.
