UnityPoint Health Trinity is hosting an in-person hiring event this week.
The event will take place at Trinity’s new center, the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), on Kimberly Road in Bettendorf.
Regional Talent Acquisition Manager Sammy Widener said the event will be tailgated-themed, featuring grilled-out food, cornhole and prizes.
Trinity is searching for nursing professionals in the following areas: registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified medical assistants (CMAs), certified nursing assistants, and patient care techs.
Widener said she encourages applicants of all skill levels to apply. She said Trinity offers on-the-job training for patient care techs and CMAs.
“Historically, applicants would be required to obtain a CNA certification and take an eight or nine-week course," Widener said. "But, over the last five years or so, in order to meet the needs of our community and serve our patients, we’ve had an on-the-job training program.”
Sign-on bonuses are also available for all roles, ranging from five to ten thousand dollars.
The release states on-the-spot interviews will be held at the event. Candidates are advised to register their attendance online and bring a copy of their resume.
