A Davenport man has died in the Scott County Jail. Friday morning, guards found 27 year old Mark Hudson un-responsive in a cell and despite their efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead.
The Scott County Sheriff's Office says the death does not appear to be suspicious but an autopsy will be conducted by the Iowa State Medical Examiner.
The investigation of Hudson's death will be handled by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
