Former US Ambassador Campaigns for Mariannette Miller-Meeks

Marianna Bacallao, WVIK News

Former US UN Ambassador Nikki Haley visited the Quad Cities today to support Iowa Second Congressional Candidate Mariannette Miller-Meeks.

Members of the Miller-Meeks campaign passed out masks and checked temperatures at the door to the Dahl Auto Muesum in Davenport, where Haley rallied for Miller-Meeks before hitting the road again.

Miller-Meeks was thrilled that Haley campaigned for her today. She says she's inspired by her career.

"For the campaign, I think any time you have someone that is, you know, of such national reputation come in to support your campaign, it really speaks volumes to your campaign. And so, we're looking forward to the next 13 days and election night."

Miller-Meeks is a Republican running for Iowa’s Second Congressional District seat against Democrat Rita Hart.
