His body was found in the 1400 block of Myrtle Street.

That's also where a Davenport police officer was shot and injured.

A memo from County Attorney Mike Walton on Monday said police officers found Tousant's body with a gunshot wound, lying on top of a semi-automatic handgun with multiple bullet casings in the area.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Scott County Sheriff's Office are investigating Tousant's death.

The other person killed in Davenport was a 22-year-old woman named Italia Kelly. On Sunday night, she was attending a protest in a WalMart parking lot when she was fatally shot.

Police are asking anyone with information about shootings, vandalism, theft, and other crimes that occurred on Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning to contact investigators. Tips are confidential and may be emailed to dpddigitalevidence@davenportiowa.com.
