People who want a free bus ride to Mr. Thanksgiving's annual turkey dinner should sign up by tomorrow at noon.
MetroLINK is taking reservations by phone for round-trip rides to South Park Mall in Moline. It's for people who live in the Illinois Quad Cities.
The number to call is 309-788-3360. Riders with reservations should call back on Wednesday to get their pickup times.
Dinner for about 2,000 people will be served Thanksgiving Day from 4 until 6 pm. Volunteers who want to help serve turkey and all the trimmings should arrive at 3 pm.
This is the 49th year Bob Vogelbaugh will host the dinner. It's for everyone, but especially those who would otherwise be alone on Thanksgiving.
