Two teenagers, one local and one in Europe, are thought to be responsible for two threats against United Township High School, and two lockdowns. Thursday afternoon, East Moline police announced the arrest of a 15 year old girl who attends UT, and the arrest in Germany of a 17 year old boy in the city of Hagen.

Police say the two are acquainted through online gaming, and the girl asked the boy in Germany to phone in threats to the high school - last week and today.

Her case is being handled in juvenile court, while German police intend to pursue criminal charges against the 17 year old.

East Moline police say there's no evidence so far that there was any actual plans for a shooting at UT.
