East Moline Police Department
East Moline police are asking the public for help with a shooting investigation. Around 2:00 A.M. today, someone reported the shooting, and officers found a man in the 1300 block of 10th Avenue. He had been shot twice in the back and was taken to a hospital. But officers say his injuries are not life-threatening.
The shooting may be related to an argument between the man and someone he knew. Detectives and other officers are interviewing witnesses and gathering information.
East Moline police are asking anyone with information to call the department (309-752-1555) or Crime Stoppers (309-762-9500). Text messages may be sent to Crime Stoppers or QCTIP (274637, "CRIMES.").
