Paul Santorum Sanders O'Malley, Oh My

campaign FB pages

Four presidential candidates will visit the Quad Cities this week - two republicans, one independent, and one democrat.

The first to arrive will be Republican Rand Paul. The US Senator from Kentucky will hold a book-signing campaign event at Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport on Thursday. Doors open at 11:30, and he's scheduled to speak at 12:15.
He'll be followed on Thursday afternoon by fellow Republican Rick Santorum. Following his official announcement today in his home state of Pennsylvania, the former US Senator will meet with local residents at the Iowa Machine Shed restaurant in Davenport, at 3 pm.

Thursday night at 7, Vermont Independent US Senator Bernie Sanders will bring his campaign to Davenport for a town meeting at Saint Ambrose University. This will be the first stop in a three-day visit to Iowa following his official entry into the presidential race on Tuesday.
The final presidential candidate of the week will be former Maryland governor, and Democrat, Martin O'Malley. He'll stop in the Quad Cities Saturday, but details have not yet been released.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978. After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
