O'Malley Campaigns in QC

O'Malley for President

Only one presidential candidate is scheduled to visit the Quad Cities this weekend. Former Maryland governor Martin O'Malley will host a meet-and-greet with local democrats in Davenport on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, at the Jersey Grille.

That will follow a similar event at noon in Muscatine at the Musser Public Library.
He'll make campaign stops in Fairfield and Keokuk on Saturday afternoon.
Republican US Senator, and presidential candidate, Rand Paul will NOT visit the Quad Cities this weekend, but a fellow member of the Kentucky Congressional delegation will appear here on his behalf. Congressman Thomas Massie will stop at the Fairmount branch of the Davenport Library tomorrow (sat) morning at 11:30.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978. After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
