Rand Paul Presidential Campaign

Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul will campaign in the Quad Cities this weekend, and talk about his flat tax proposal. Tomorrow, the US Senator from Kentucky will speak at the River Center in Davenport, and then on Saturday, he'll be the first participant in the Quad Cities New Ideas Forum, at Modern Woodmen Park.
Jason Gordon, from the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, says the Chamber, Saint Ambrose University, and the Quad City Times developed the concept for the New Ideas Forum. It will offer presidential candidates a place to "road test new ideas."
Rand Paul will discuss his flat tax proposal and then answer questions. Gordon says the forum will offer local residents an opportunity to directly engage in politics.

Paul will speak at a rally tomorrow in Davenport, at the River Center at 6 pm. And, the New Ideas Forum will start at 10 am on Saturday, at Modern Woodmen Park.
