The proposed sale of the county nursing home tops the agenda for Tuesday night's meeting of the Rock Island County Board. Infinity Health Care has offered four million dollars for the Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline.
Just last month, the board rejected an offer from Aperion Care. The company originally offered six million and it was accepted back in February, but then Aperion lowered its offer to four million. Due to concern about the company's record, board members turned down the lower offer.
Last fall, Rock Island County listed Hope Creek for sale for 19 million dollars.
