A new police chief will officially begin working in Moline Wednesday, following Tuesday night's swearing in of Darren Gault during the city council meeting.
The city will also hold a welcoming open house for Chief Gault in two weeks (8/14) at the police department.
He joined the East Moline department in 1998, and most recently served as captain. And he'll replace Robert Finney who's served as interim chief since last year.
