One of the bridges over the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities will be closed for the next three Saturdays.
The U.S. Army Garrison on Arsenal Island says Government Bridge will be closed during the day on Saturday, December 15th, 22nd, and 29th. Traffic will be stopped starting at 7:15 am through 3:30 pm so the Corps of Engineers can work on Lock 15.
Again, Government Bridge will be closed to all vehicle, pedestrian, and train traffic every Saturday for the res of December, from 7:15 am to 3:30 pm.
