Nine semi-finalists are now in the running for Davenport city administrator. Mayor Frank Klipsch says last week the search committee looked over the 34 applications the city received, and narrowed the list to nine.
From there, the committee will meet early next month (6/6), and choose 3 to 4 finalists and invite them to come to Davenport for interviews in July. Only then, he says, will any of the names be disclosed.
The city is looking for a permanent replacement for Craig Malin who resigned last summer. Since then his assistant, Corri Spiegel, has been serving as interim city administrator.
