Donald Trump hasn't decided whether he'll run for president, but says he's the only potential candidate who could lead the country out of hell. The businessman spoke this morning in Davenport at a breakfast sponsored by the Scott County Republican Party.
Trump says he's "pro second amendment," "anti- common core," and on trade would bring manufacturing back to the US by imposing high taxes on products made in other countries, similar to policies in China and Japan.
Steve Robinson from Davenport agrees with Trump's ideas and proposals. He wishes the real estate tycoon could be elected, but doesn't it's possible because of Trump's leadership style.
Trump also says most politicians can't make deals like he can. And he would force Iran to sign a nuclear deal by tripling the current sanctions.
Nearly 300 people attended the breakfast.
