Governor Bruce Rauner will spend this week promoting his agenda to residents of Illinois. Today he'll start the "Turnaround Tour" that will stop in 17 counties, through Saturday.
The tour's first stops will be in Chicago and the collar counties, today and tomorrow, then he'll travel to Winnebago and Rock Island counties on Wednesday.
Thursday's stops will include Adams and Peoria counties, with southern and eastern Illinois counties Friday and Saturday.
A press release says Rauner will present details of his legislative plans, including ways to promote jobs and the economy of the state, plus freezing property taxes and pension reform.
