Visitation will be held Thursday, with the funeral on Friday, for a longtime employee of Augustana College. 64 year old Leslie Dennison of Sherrard died last week as a result of the duck boat accident on Table Rock Lake, in Branson, Missouri.
Dennison worked in dining services at Augustana for 38 years, and in 2014 was one of several winners of the Jaecke Award that honors employees for their service to the college.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home in Milan (201 East 4th Avenue). Services will be Friday at 10 am at the funeral home, with burial in Sherrard Cemetery.
