Three years after it closed, a buyer may have been found for the former Western Illinois University campus in Moline. On Sunday, college trustees will hold a special meeting in Macomb to "consider the sale of the University's former 60th Street campus."
The Quad Cities campus of WIU moved in to the former IBM office building overlooking John Deere Road in 1997, and held classes there until 2014 when it moved to the new campus on River Drive.
The notice of the trustees meeting also mentions a possible sale price of 1.4 million dollars.
