The Bettendorf School District will continue holding public meetings this week, in hopes of improving its elementary schools. The next meeting is scheduled for tonight at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, from 6 to 8 pm.
Bettendorf Schools has hired a firm to evaluate its six elementary buildings, and a group of 14 volunteers is talking to local residents. The group wants to improve the facilities, educational programming, and how the district spends money.
Meetings will be held tonight through Thursday, with additional sessions next week.
