The Davenport School Board is continuing deliberations over what to do with students at JB Young Intermediate School when the school closes in the spring. Boundary re-drawing proposals are being considered, which would assign the students to other schools according to where they live.
District spokeswoman Dawn Saul says the board is working to make the most sensible decision for students and their parents.
The school district held two meetings with parents at JB Young on Dec. 9 to address concerns and questions and allowed parents to look at the proposed school boundary changes.
