Monmouth College president to be inaugurated

Nearly a year after becoming president of Monmouth College, Clarence Wyatt will be formally inaugurated tomorrow (4/17). Wyatt became the fourteenth president of the college last July after serving as chief planning officer and assistant to the president of Centre College in Kentucky.

Wyatt received his undergraduate and master's degrees from Centre College and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Kentucky. He has written a book about U.S. press coverage of the Vietnam War and co-edited a collection of essays about the war.

The inauguration will be held at 2 p.m.
