'Suspect Convictions' Ep. 12: Running on Fumes

For this episode, we go back to 1990 to explore Stanley Liggins' living situation at the time he was arrested for murdering Jennifer Lewis.

Liggins was living at the Hillside Inn, a motel in Rock Island. He claims he gave the police permission to search his room, as long as they didn't charge him with anything unrelated to the murder. However, police did arrest Liggins for cocaine possession.

We also talk about the contents of the missing police reports that weren't originally turned over to the defense attorneys, and how the information within the reports could be used in the upcoming trial.
