See What's Behind the Gate – CDK Angus Farm Experience

Ever wonder where your food really comes from? Join CDK Angus for “See What's Behind the Gate” on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 11 AM to 3 PM in Lena, Illinois.

This free, family-friendly event invites visitors to experience life on a working cattle farm. Start with a hayride to the farm, meet the cattle, explore agricultural exhibits, learn about animal care and farming practices, and connect with local businesses that support agriculture.

Enjoy activities for kids, food, drinks, music, and an opportunity to meet your farmer!

Our mission is simple: bridge the gap between farmers and consumers by helping families understand where their food comes from.
