The Trump Bus Tour across Iowa ended today in Davenport. Outside the Scott County Republican Headquarters, dozens gathered despite the rain to hear from members of the Trump campaign.

Matt Schlapp, a political activist traveling with the Trump Tour Bus, stressed how important Iowa is in the November election.

"We don't win Iowa, we don't win, folks. So goes Iowa, so goes the country. You've heard it before. It's really true this year."

Trump supporters greet the Trump Tour Bus as it arrives in Davenport.

Erin Perrine is the director of press communication for the president's re-election campaign. She says the pandemic won't stop their message from reaching people.

"It gives us a chance to talk to our hardcore volunteers, our supporters, get them motivated, and then as we're driving along, everyone's seeing the bus."

The bus also visited Cedar Rapids and Waterloo earlier this week.
