Andrew Yang visits Iowa before caucus

Brady Johnosn

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang came back to the Quad Cities to campaign this week.

Last night, January 23, at the Lulac Club in Davenport, Yang talked about the loss of retail jobs as online shopping continues to grow.

He's the candidate who proposes giving $1,000 a month to every adult in the country.

Yang also says not every young adult needs college to find a job, and the federal government should promote more trade programs.

Other issues he supports include term limits, making election day a federal holiday, and allowing taxpayers to decide how the government spends one percent of their tax dollars.

Yang was also set to hold town halls in Muscatine and Wapello last night (thurs), and Friday he plans to visit Burlington, Keokuk, Mount Pleasant, and Fairfield.

There's only about a week to go before the Iowa caucuses.
