WVIK announces our special Holiday Programming beginning November 28th, the first Sunday of Advent. While much of our music is religious, celebrating many traditions, we've added a special "A Soulful Christmas" to our features. Mindy Heusel states "It is curated by a young choral director who has really made a name for himself in the music world, Tesfa Wondemagegnehu. "
According to Wondemagegnehu's bio "Whether he’s programming a choral concert at St. Olaf or curating a public radio special like the recent program Lift Every Voice, Wondemagegnehu has consistently incorporated activism and themes of social justice into his work."
Other highlights include:
Friday December 24th:
9 AM A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
9 PM A Nova Christmas
Saturday December 25th:
