This year, the zoo will feature new exhibits and services.
Later this year, the African Painted Dogs and Prarie Dogs exhibits will open to the public. Niabi also will remodel the Big Cat and Bald Eagle exhbits later this year.
Other changes to the zoo include improved food options, "Scooter Pals," for people to ride around in the zoon, and a partnership with Kulture City. Kulture City is a nonprofit that helps organizations work with people who have "sensory needs," such as autism, PTSD, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and stroke patients.
