The Galesburg Post Office will be renamed in honor of Senior Airman Daniel Miller.
Congresswoman Cheri Bustos first announced her plans to honor him back in 2019. Her bill passed both chambers of Congress in 2020 and was signed into law last year.
Miller died in 2007 while attempting to defuse a car bomb in the Baghdad area of Iraq. He was 24 years old.
