The number of COVID-19 cases in the Quad Cities may be leveling off after increasing for several weeks.

The Illinois public health department reports 220 new cases in Rock Island County, compared to 233 a week ago. And no one has died of the coronavirus infection, compared to two deaths the previous week.

The Iowa Department of Public Health reports 243 new cases in Scott County, compared to 247 the previous week, and one death - the same as last week.

In Dubuque County, there are 139 new cases over the past week, nine more than last week, with no deaths compared to one death the previous week.

The CDC Tracker shows community levels of the infection continue to be "low" in all three counties.
