Moline selects Three Corners as master developer for River Tech

The master developer of Moline's River Tech project is eager to get to work, and has already completed some preliminary research. Last week, the city council decided Three Corners Development Services will lead the design and construction of the property on River Drive adjacent to Western Illinois University's new campus.

Christopher Woods is the Director of Real Estate for Three Corners. He says the 15 acres will be developed in three phases, each designed to stand alone, including the first. (Woods1)

The first phase of housing will be for students, and Woods says they will be suites. And the number of beds per suite will depend on market research. (Woods2)

In addition, Three Corners has already hired Ruhl and Ruhl as an advisor for River Tech, especially for help with deciding what kind of restaurant or cafe would best serve the needs of Moline residents. The firm will also work closely with Holabird and Root, the senior designer of Western's new riverfront campus.
