The Putnam Museum and Science Center is hosting a new exhibit. The exhibit focuses on the railroads, giving people a closer look at the Quad Cities' history.
The exhibit has something for people of all ages. Many historical artifacts and model trains will be on display, including Buddy L trains and model trains from regional names like Davenport, Rock Island, and Barstow. There's a 'Hobo' Card guessing game, a hand cart station, and a railroad building.
The Putnam will be playing "Train Time" in the theater. The film features a BNSF train engine that travels across the American landscape. The film talks about train careers such as conductors, service workers, and engineers. To see the movie is an additional $5 cost.
The exhibit will be at the Putnam until October 13th.
