The Red Cross chapter that serves the Quad Cities provides services during emergencies such as shelter, meals, health care, and mental health care. The number to call for assistance is 1.800.733.2767 or 1.800-RedCross. Donations are welcome, and volunteers can sign up for training.

The Quad Cities Salvation Army offers a variety of services at its locations in Davenport and Moline.

Iowa residents affected by floods and other disasters who experience legal issues (tenant-landlord disputes, employment disputes, etc.), insurance issues, or related questions may contact Iowa Legal Aid for assistance. 1-800-532-1275.

Join WVIK in fighting hunger. During February, River Bend Food Bank will host the Community Hunger Drive, and WVIK is designated as a donation drop-off site for the event. Drop-off your donations at WVIK Monday through Thursday between 8 am and 2 pm at 815 38th Street, Rock Island.
