Search for Missing Child Moves to Clinton County

The search for a missing Davenport girl has moved. Thanks to new information, searchers are now looking for 10 year old Breasia Terrell in Clinton County.

Thursday morning, the city announced Davenport Police are working with the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, officers from Clinton and Camanche, and many other agencies to find the child who was last seen in Davenport on Friday.

Volunteers who would like to help are asked to report to the Low Moor Community Center to check in, and receive information about the search.

Police have identified 47 year old Henry Dinkins of Davenport as a "person of interest," meaning he might have information about Terrell's disappearance. And they're asking the public to report anything they know about Dinkins' whereabouts from last Thursday night through Friday at noon.

A native of Detroit, Herb Trix began his radio career as a country-western disc jockey in Roswell, New Mexico (“KRSY, your superkicker in the Pecos Valley”), in 1978. After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
