LULAC Expecting Record Latino Turn-Out at Iowa Caucuses

LULAC

Scott County has the second highest number of Latino voters in Iowa. And, one organization is doing all it can to encourage more Latinos to caucus on Monday.

Maria Bribriesco is the Deputy Director of the League of United Latin American Citizens, or LULAC, in Iowa. She says out of the 50,000 Hispanic voters in Iowa, more than 3,000 live in Scott County.

LULAC has been knocking on doors, making phone calls, and holding caucus training sessions.
Bribriesco hopes to encourage 1,000 more Latinos to vote in Scott County this year.
