The youngest serving United States Senator will headline a republican fundraiser in the Quad Cities. Tuesday night, Arkansas US Senator Tom Cotton will be the featured speaker at the Scott County Republican Party's annual Ronald Reagan dinner.

The Reagan dinner is the party's major fundraiser each year.

Cotton practiced private law and served on the US Court of Appeals, before spending five years on active duty with the Army as an Infantry Officer.

He won election to the US Senate last year, and currently serves on the Banking, Intelligence, and Armed Services committees.

Other speakers at Tuesday's Reagan dinner include Iowa Governor Terry Branstad, US Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst, and Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate.

The 8th annual Scott County Republican's Reagan Dinner begins at 6:30 pm Tuesday, at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf.
