Flood of Presidential Candidates Coming to the QC

Election 2016

A month before the Iowa caucuses, a flood of presidential candidates is headed towards the Quad Cities.

Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, begins a two-day swing through Iowa today. At 11:45, Clinton will campaign at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport. Then at 3, she'll hold a rally in Cedar Rapids, followed by an event in Des Moines tonight.

A slightly different campaign stop is planned for Davenport tomorrow  morning. Frank Fiorina, Republican candidate Carly Fiorina's husband, will hold a meet and greet at the Scott County GOP office, starting at 8 am.

The next campaign stop in the Quad Cities is scheduled for Thursday. Republican Ben Carson will host a town hall meeting, at 6:30 pm, at Precision Signz on Valley Drive in Bettendorf.

Then on Friday, GOP candidate and Senator Rand Paul will campaign at the River Music Experience in Davenport. The Senator's birthday celebration begins at 8 pm.
