Clinton Campaigns in Davenport

WVIK Staff

One month before the Iowa caucuses, Hillary Clinton kicked off a two-day, cross state bus tour in the Quad Cities on Monday.

To a crowd of about 400 at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, the democratic candidate outlined what she would do if elected president. But she also spent a lot of time describing what republicans will do if they win the White House.

They're against rights for workers, women, and others - they want to turn the clock back.

She also criticized republican candidates for their attacks against Muslims living in the US - calling the attacks shameful and dangerous.

We need their help to find possible terrorists.

Clinton promised to reach out to anyone, to try to solve the nation's problems.

Her bus tour this week will include stops in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Council Bluffs, and Sioux City.

After a stint at an oldies station in Topeka, Kansas (imagine getting paid to play “Louie Louie” and “Great Balls of Fire”), he wormed his way into news, first in Topeka, and then in Freeport Illinois.
