The republican leader in the Iowa Quad Cities is stepping down. Monday night the central committee of the Scott County Republican Party will choose a replacement for Judy Davidson who decided not to run for re-election as chair.
In a final message, Davidson says it's been an honor to volunteer for the party for the past 18 years, including the last 8 as party chair. She's not retiring completely though - she'll continue to serve on the State Central Committee for the Republican Party of Iowa through next year.
Local party members Monday night will also choose members of the executive committee, including vice chair, treasurer, and secretary.
