Students who graduated from Augustana College this year won't get to celebrate until next spring. Earlier, the college in Rock Island planned to host graduation in October during Homecoming weekend.
President Steve Bahls says the college decided to postpone commencement again because Illinois probably won't allow large gatherings this fall.
The state is currently in Phase Four of the Restore Illinois plan which prohibits more than 50 people to gather in one place.
Augustana now plans to host commencement ceremonies for the Classes of 2020 and 2021 on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021.
