It will be more expensive to attend Eastern Iowa Community Colleges next fall. Last night, the board of trustees approved a tuition increase of three dollars per credit hour, bringing the total to 140 dollars per credit hour for in-state students.
Even with the hike, spokesman, Alan Campbell, says Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott community colleges are still very affordable.
The two percent tuition increase will also apply to out-of-state students who attend Eastern Iowa Community Colleges. Campbell says they'll pay 207 dollars per credit hour starting in the fall.
