A new sub-division has opened in west Rock Island. On Friday, the Rock Island Housing Authority handed out keys to the first ten residents of Lynden Lane.
It had been the site of Manor Homes which was demolished last February.
The Housing Authority says a total of 55 families will move in, during the next three months.
A ribbon cutting will be held December 9th.
