Kim Reynolds will attend the Pre-Flight Dinner for Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
Each year Honor Flight flies American veterans to Washington D.C. to visit memorials honoring their sacrifices.
Priority is given to World War Two, Korean War, and terminally ill veterans, but all veterans in the Quad Cities area are encouraged to apply.
The next Honor Flight will take off on Tuesday.
Governor Reynolds will attend the pre-flight dinner on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf.
