"QC, That's Where!" - A New Brand and Slogan for the Quad Cities Region

The Quad Cities have a new brand and advertising campaign.

Today, Visit Quad Cities and the Quad Cities Chamber announced the new marketing strategy to attract business and tourism to the area. "QC, That's Where!" is the slogan, designed to cut through questions about the geography and focus on what the Quad Cities region has to offer.

Dave Herrell, CEO of Visit Quad Cities, says the slogan is intentionally flexible to help focus on the question of "Why the Quad Cities?"

"QC, that's where the third most diversified economy in the United States is. QC, that's where the PGA Tour tees it up. QC, that's where I started my business that is now thriving."

Herrell wants to get citizens and businesses excited about the brand and connected to the region. He says the authentic connection to the Quad Cities can help spread the word and drive local development.

"How are we making this a great place to live, visit, invest, play, work, and experience? And so being able to take all of those things and put it into a package gives us an opportunity to really shine even more than we already have."
