The annual race will take place on Sunday, September 22nd, with road closures beginning Friday, September 20th.

On Sunday, the Rock Island Arsenal and Government Bridge will remain closed until 2 p.m. Additionally, both sides of the I-74 ramps will be closed until 10 a.m.

Assistant Race Director Mike Mallon said this year, residents and participants can now find a course map on Google Maps.

“When they go to each of the races, they can click in and see a Google course map, and that might help them plan their day as well," Mallon said. "Maybe where they want to spectate, if they’re heading out to run some errands, where does the course run, and how they can work around it.”

Mallon said each race contains its own Google Maps, which can be found on the course’s website.
